New Year’s Celebration

The celebration for the new year is almost here! 2016 is nearly over as we plan for festivities to welcome 2017. If you’re attending a New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day party, I have some outfit ideas!

For those of you who like to shimmer like the confetti, a glitter or sequin dress is perfect. If you want to be a bit warmer for the occasion, a glitter or sequin top with a contrasting pair of pants is the way to go. An alternative would be shimmery accessories, such as glitter earring, crystal necklaces, or gem and/or charm bracelets. This way, you’ll show your love for all things sparkly, but in a subtle way.

If you want to go for a romantic look, go for a lace outfit. Whether it is a lace dress, lace top with pants, or a lace skirt with a blouse, the lace will portray a romantic feel. With a lace top with a pair of dark or black jeans and heels, you be sure to find your midnight kiss.

You can’t go wrong with velvet; being such a trendy fabric choice this year, velvet is great for a New Year’s Party. A sheer mesh dress with velvet details is perfect for a party. You could also wear an entire velvet dress! Whether you wear velvet as your main article of clothing or as an accessory, like a choker or shoes, you’ll be the trendiest at the party.
