Valentine’s Day Style

Valentine’s Day is best spent with loved ones, whether it is with a significant other, family, or friends. If you are going out for a dinner, movie, or a casual hang out, I have a few styling tips that will show your loving spirit.

A casual setting calls for comfort with classics. Keeping in mind of the holiday’s colors, you can wear a simple maroon t-shirt, dark or black denim jeans, white sneakers, and a camel coat. You could also swap the t-shirt for a babydoll blouse for a romantic feel.

For a semi-formal date, simplicity is key. A jumpsuit or a bodysuit and trousers are perfect for the occasion. With a pair of heels and a leather or bomber jacket, you’ll exude confidence. With light pastel colors, such as lavender and peach, you’ll be expressing subtle romantic vibes during your date.

If you’re going on an extravagant date, a dress is perfect. Depending on your aesthetic, you can wear a bodycon dress, wrap dress, slip dress, or loose-fitted dress. For a trendsetting ensemble, a velvet slip dress or lace bodycon dress is the way to go. A pair of strappy heals and simple jewelry, such as a necklace or bracelet, can finished off your look. Also, when choosing a dress, velvet, lace, or silk fabrics are great as well as bold colors or classics, such as black and white.

With these tips, you will look radiant this Valentine’s Day.
